Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our language-learning application ("Wezu"). Wezu helps you build vocabulary, study grammar, and track your learning progress across multiple languages.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifying information, and we do not require an account to use the App. The information involved falls into the following categories:

• Content You Create: The vocabulary you save, lists and decks you build, grammar topics and lessons you study, and your learning progress and session history. This content is created by you and stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account (see Section 3). We do not have access to it.
• Content You Import or Share: Text you import (for example, from a CSV file) or text you send to the App from other apps using the iOS share sheet, in order to add it as vocabulary. This is processed only to create your learning content.
• Analytics Data: Anonymous usage statistics such as feature usage and session duration, used to understand how the App is used and to improve its performance.
• Error Report Data: Collected automatically when the App encounters a crash or error, to diagnose and resolve issues.

Analytics and error report data are anonymous and are not used to identify individual users.

2. How Information is Used

The information is used solely to:

• Provide the App's core features — saving vocabulary, studying grammar, and tracking your progress.
• Sync your content across your own devices through iCloud.
• Improve the App's functionality and user experience.
• Identify and resolve technical issues.

We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

The content you create is stored on your device and synced to your private iCloud (CloudKit) account, which is tied to your personal Apple ID. This data resides in your own iCloud storage; we, as the developer, cannot read it. CloudKit adheres to Apple's security protocols to safeguard data against unauthorized access.

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmissions or storage.

4. Notifications

With your permission, the App may send local reminders to encourage your study habits. You can grant or revoke notification access at any time in your device's Settings. The App does not require notifications to function.

5. Third-Party Services

This App may use third-party services for:

• Analytics (e.g., Google Firebase Analytics).
• Error reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics).
• Storage and sync of your content (e.g., Apple iCloud / CloudKit).

These third parties may process data according to their own privacy policies.

6. In-App Purchases

The App offers full access to its features through in-app purchases. Payment and billing information are handled directly by the app store platform (e.g., Apple App Store) and are subject to their terms and privacy policies. We do not receive or store your payment details.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
